October 3, 2020 - It’s with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a young member of the Caledon hockey community.
In Nov 2019, Reese Meyer #3 with the Caledon Hawks Minor Bantam AE team was rushed to SickKids in Toronto with a life-threatening brain tumour.
For almost a year, the hockey community in Caledon joined many others as they rallied around him and his family, supporting them in any way they could. Reese battled as long as he could
This morning, Reese moved on from this world peacefully, surrounded by family. He will be missed by all who knew him and, because of his courage, by many who didn’t.
“On behalf of the Caledon Golden Hawks Jr. C Hockey Club and the Arsenault Hockey Group, I offer condolences to Reese’s family, teammates and the Caledon Minor Hockey Association.”
- David Arsenault, President. Arsenault Hockey Group
